Save the date for the 15th InHome Conference!

Homeschoolers, mark your calendars now for the 15th InHome Conference on March 15 to 17, 2012, at the luxurious Pheasant Run Resort and Spa in St. Charles, Illinois!

The Workshop Committee already has plans for many programs, from useful tips for new and experienced homeschool parents to learning activities for children and teens, as well as fun events for entire families. Last year’s programs for adults included seminars on how to teach math, getting your teen into college, the classical approach to homeschooling and how unschooling works. Children's events provided for a wide variety of interests from art to robots to zombie makeup to martial arts to sewing. Active outlets included dodge ball and Nerf gun wars. Meanwhile, teens had the opportunity to meet other homeschooled teens, enjoy a dance and participate in special programs, such as stage combat and improvisational theater. Parents and their children could learn together with special shows and hands-on history projects.

The Exhibit Hall Committee is working hard to bring back favorite exhibitors and new ones, too, so attendees may stroll around the Hall and contemplate curricula, explore educational toys, browse books and learn about opportunities for special lessons and recreation programs for their homeschooled children.

The Technology Committee is improving our website to make it more user-friendly and accessible. There will be updates on all areas of the conference throughout the next months.
