Presenter Ellen Stukel

Ellen Stukel is the mother of three children ages 18, 15 and 11, and has homeschooled from the beginning using a combination of approaches including Classical and relaxed homeschooling. After receiving her BA in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she worked as a computer analyst for several years. She also taught Bradley Method childbirth classes for 12 years. As a consultant for Usborne Books & More, she has given workshops on a variety of educational and parenting topics. She has also co-founded several academic clubs for her children in areas of science, history, and literature.
