Presenter Natasha Lehrer
Entrepreneur, artist, and educator are a few things Natasha Lehrer, of Esther’s Place, has been called. Her favorite title however, is “shepherdess”. Their flock of sheep have been the basis of the adventure she’s been traveling for the past ten years. Her passion involves connecting the worlds of art, agriculture, and education. Her art has been shown nationally and internationally, and teaching and presenting has taken her around the Chicagoland region. She believes in igniting the creativity everyone has inside. The fiber studio she and her mother, Donna, run is where people can engage in knitting, felting, weaving, and spinning artistically and beautifully. Natasha works with educators in using fiber in their art curriculum and has been honored with several awards for her artistry, entrepreneurism, and ingenuity. It is her hope to continue to be able to share and inspire people of ages and backgrounds to find their niche in fiber.
