Jacquelynn Accetta
Jacquelynn Accetta is an Education Specialist at Discovery Center Museum in Rockford, Ill. Her primary interests are chemistry and the science of cooking, but she really loves all types of science! In her spare time you will find her in her kitchen working on her next batch of bread, cheese or cookies!

Skyler D. Angeles
Skyler has been a homeschooler her whole life. She is currently a senior in high school and will be attending college this fall as an art major. Homeschooling has allowed her the time to focus on many different art mediums. She enjoys everything from fiber crafts to sketching and photography to mixed media. Skyler loves being able to share in the learning of the art process with her fellow homeschoolers and friends. She currently resides in Shorewood, IL., with her family and is engaged to Nathaniel Jordan, a fellow InHome Conference attendee!

Ron Behm
Ron is an avid board gamer and card player. His preference for games can range from complex strategy to rich thematic and customizable games. The critical thinking skills these games develop are an important part of his family’s homeschooling environment. Of special interest are the cooperative games that can span wide age groups, which Ron plays with his wife and two boys. Favorite games include: Pandemic, Forbidden Island, Dominion, Ticket to Ride and Kingdom Builder.

Christopher Bernd
Christopher Bernd is the Outreach Coordinator at Discovery Center Museum in Rockford, Ill. For the past nine years, he has been educating and inspiring learners of all ages. He is best known for his fantastic science demonstrations on physics, chemistry, fire, and more! He enjoys engaging in scientific discourse, so if you have any questions, bring them his way!

Elena Bisabarros
Elena Bisabarros was born in San Sebastian, Spain. She studied at the University of Salamanca, earning a degree in Spanish Philology. She moved to the United States in 1986 and finished her Master's Degree at New York University and her Ph.D. at SUNY at Stony Brook in Contemporary Peninsular Literature. She has been teaching Spanish for 25 years at the elementary, secondary and university levels. She has also taught continuing education to adults for many years.
She is the mother of two children, Amaya, 12, and Xabier, 7. She homeschools Amaya and teaches Spanish at Xabier's school which is a very alternative school, between Waldorf and Montessori.
She has written a fiction novel and a method for parents to teach Spanish and is in the process of publishing her doctoral dissertation. She is a member of the MMLA and every year presents a paper related to her dissertation topic.

Katy Cameron
Katy received her BA in Biology from Kenyon College and her MS in Biology with a focus on Marine Science from Florida International University. Her liberal arts education helped her realize that she found education in all forms inspiring, as she explored many subjects including chemistry, physics, and theatre. She teaches hands-on science and writes curriculum for Kids Science Labs, where she loves seeing how discovery through science brings joy into children's lives.

Shegan Campbell
Shegan is co-founder of Kids Science Labs and teaches children of all ages. He is quite comfortable with his inner geek and is passionate about ensuring our kids have great academic choices. He has taught kids all over the country amazing problem solving and was named Most Outstanding TA at Stanford, where he taught the Intro to Engineering Lab. Shegan loves to laugh and engage kids in fixing problems and figuring out how stuff works!

Sandy Denninger
Sandy Denninger has over 10 years experience in the museum field. Her primary passion is with designing award-winning exhibits, but she also loves presenting educational programs to people of all ages to make learning about history fun and interactive!

Charlene Doland
Charlene Doland has been a home educator of her two sons for the past twelve years. During her journey, she has explored a variety of methodologies, including Classical, unit studies, and project-based learning (PBL). In addition to this full-time occupation, Charlene owns a small business representing Usborne and Kane-Miller books to families and educational institutions. Prior to the birth of her children, Charlene worked in information technology for two decades, with particular enjoyment in managing large systems integration projects. In 2009, Charlene completed a degree at DePaul University with a concentration in Neurodevelopmental Methodologies and subsequently worked as a neurodevelopmentalist. She is co-founder of Meliora, an educational initiative launched in order to develop a secondary level, learner-directed community that encourages investigative learning. Charlene is also currently navigating the swirling waters of the college preparedness and application process.

Judy Dorsz
Judy Dorsz is an instructor at Bartlett Nature Center, which offers nature studies for grades PreK-12. Programs are geared to encouraging active participation by the students through hands-on activities and outdoor exploration.

Jonathan Endres
Jonathan Endres is 15 years old and has always unschooled. He is a whiz at football trivia and enjoys playing many sports including soccer, karate, bowling, basketball, and track. He is a member of Shakespeare on the Edge in Monroe, Wisc., and recently has traveled to the Pacific Northwest and Canada by himself to visit friends he's met at various unschooling conferences.

Rob Endres
Rob is the father of two amazing kids, and they've been unschooling for 13 years. He has been hooked on Settlers of Catan ever since his kids first taught him to play.

Judy Fabjance
Judy Fabjance is thrilled to be back at this conference sharing her passion of improvisation. Judy teaches students aged 3 to 99 and of varying abilities. She has been teaching improv for thirteen years with The Second City and also teaches improv for Homeschool Co-ops, Emerald City Theatre Company, Keshet, After School Matters, birthday parties and businesses.
She has been studying improvisation, acting and comedy writing at the best training grounds in Chicago; The Second City, io and The Annoyance for over twenty years.
She writes and performs in a sketch comedy group that performs locally and nationally and has been with GayCo producitons for fifteen years.

Chris Fascione
Chris Fascione's greatest passion has always been performing for children and their families. He has toured his one-man show "Bringing Literature to Life!" throughout the United States for over twenty years at libraries, park districts, churches, synagogues, Scouting events, schools, and recreation centers. He also conducts workshops on storytelling and read-aloud techniques to educational professionals. He is a "Storytelling World" award winner, has been featured on "Reading is Fundamental" and has appeared on several children's television programs. He incorporates his acting, mime, juggling and comedic skills to both entertain and lead children into the world of books.

Jennifer L. Fink
Jennifer L.W. Fink is a single mother of four boys, ages 14, 11, 9, and 6. Her homeschooling journey began over seven years ago and has included just about every possible permutation of homeschooling: full-time homeschool, combination homeschool/public school, and full-time institutional school. Field Trips on Wheels Foundation, NFP
Dan Greco is the president and primary exhibit handler for Field Trips on Wheels Foundation, NFP. Field Trips on Wheels Foundation was founded in 2008 to perform live animal exhibits for school-age children attending classes in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and surrounding areas. Field Trips on Wheels Foundation, NFP, prides itself in making its program available to public and private schools, homeschools, scout gatherings and education-themed birthday parties or events. Because reptiles are among the hardiest and easiest animals to transport, our exhibit includes representatives from all four modern reptile groups: the chelonians (turtles and tortoises), snakes, lizards and crocodilians. We are an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Karen Freund
After teaching in the public schools, Karen was delighted 20 years ago to start her own homeschool laboratory. Over time, it has grown to three students. Her first "guinea pig" has graduated from college, while her 14-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son continue as test subjects.

Coach Gandy
Coach Gandy is a registered high school and middle school fencing/Sabre coach in Illinois and Wisconsin. He has been the Stevenson High School Sabre Coach for ten years and the Kenosha Middle School KUSD Fencing Coach for 3 years. He was also an Olympic Staff Member at the Georgia Olympic Games and the ParaOlympic Games Field of Play Director (1991). Coach Gandy placed 18th in the U.S Nationals Summer Games (1991). He has been the Midwest Sectional Champion two times, the
Illinois Divisional Champion three times, and the Fencing 2000 Sabre Champion Midwest. His Stevenson High School Sabre Team (boys and girls teams) has won the Midwest High School Championship four times.

Amy Good
Play-Well TEKnologies provides project-based programs designed to teach principles and methods of engineering to children, ages 5-14, using LEGO®. Our curriculum is designed by engineers, building on the math and science skills students learn during the school year. Utilizing over 100,000 pieces of LEGO® for each class, we engage our students in solving real-world engineering challenges that explore concepts in physics, architecture, and engineering. We have been teaching homeschool classes and, in the process, growing future engineers since 1997.
Amy Good's Bio:
Inspired by her grandfather’s motto, “The Best Should Teach”, Amy earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado University and spent four years as a teacher in the Denver Public School system. She feels teaching others is the best way to leave behind a legacy and is excited to continue her inspiration for thinking outside of the LEGO® box as the Midwest Regional Manager for Play-Well.

Jonathan Harper
Jon Harper is a sophomore at Loyola University Chicago studying English and Secondary Education. He was homeschooled through 8th grade and then attended a traditional private high school from 9th to 12th grade. He is passionate about literature, poetry, healthy eating, and travel.

Margaret Heller
Margaret Heller is currently Web Services Librarian at Dominican University in River Forest, Ill. She grew up in Oak Park and was homeschooled starting at the age of 9, before graduating with a BA from the College of Wooster in 2006 and an MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008. Rebecca Jaxon
Rebecca Jaxon grew up in St. Charles, Ill. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, then got a job in the computer field. She discovered homeschooling when her eldest was two years old, and soon left work to homeschool her three children. Her family has lived in several states, but spent most of those years in Champaign, Ill., where they helped found a HOUSE chapter. They worked with the InHome conference for many years. With her computer skills, she built the conference's first database. Rebecca has been an attendee, presenter, board member, volunteer, and head of the registration committee, so she knows the conference inside and out and is committed to seeing it endure. Rebecca knows the importance of connecting with other homeschoolers and also of watching for legal challenges to homeschooling. She has worked against several such threats, and though her children are grown, she represents HOUSE to the Ad Hoc Committee for Home Ed Legal and Legislative Matters.

Rebecca Johnson
Rebecca is a lifelong gardener and worked as an organic farmer for many years in upstate New York before moving to the Chicago area in 2000. She lives, grows food, and homeschools in Skokie with her husband and three kids.

Pam Kaloustian
Pam Kaloustian began sewing, knitting, and crafting at a very young age. It has been a passion ever since. Over the years, she has created and taught several classes that promote the values of imagination, originality, and inventiveness. She maintains there is no greater gift than one hand or "Pam" made. She loves to inspire others and draw out their talents. Professionally, Pam is a marketing executive who has spearheaded product development activities for several consumer product companies in the US and Canada.

Laila Kassar
Laila is an 8th grader who loves arts and crafts. She has entered many projects in the DuPage County Fair, winning Grand Champion in 2011 in the Glass/Plastic category for her beadwork. This year she will again be sharing her beading talent with new students.

Harith Kassar
Harith, a homeschool sophomore, is studying at Triton College this year. He has been active in Boy Scouts for many years, earning the rank of Life Scout. He plans to complete his Eagle Rank this year. Harith will be sharing his love of the outdoors in his Outdoor Survival Skills Class at the conference this year. He will also be leading budding engineers to answer the design challenge of building high-rise structures and roller coasters.

Jumana Kassar
Jumana, a high school junior, is currently studying at Triton College. Throughout her homeschool years, she developed a love for arts and crafts. She has been recognized at the DuPage County Fair for her needlework, among other projects. This year, she will be teaching crochet techniques and friendship bracelets at the conference.

George Krasnopolskiy
George Krasnopolskiy is a pioneer in the industry of chess education and play therapy. He co-founded CheckMates Chess Academy and has taught chess across the United States to students of all backgrounds and skill levels. His approach to teaching chess revolves around strengthening the skills that students use in both chess and everyday life to make chess easy to relate to and useful.
In addition to teaching chess, he has developed curricula specifically to teach chess to visually impaired students, students with ADD/ ADHD, families as a bonding activity, juvenile offenders to teach life skills, and ESL students as a way to integrate into the community. Mary Lamphere
Mary is a graduate of the Visual Communications program at Northern Illinois University. She has worked as a freelance designer creating logos, letterheads, posters, brochures, tabs, post cards, and business cards for businesses of all sizes and profits. She enjoys mixed media and creative application -- if it has a surface, brand it!

Paul A. Laprade
Paul Laprade is Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Rock Valley College, where he conducts the Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Women's Choir, and teaches courses in music theory and voice. Ensembles under his direction have performed throughout North America, and have been invited performers to the White House for Presidents Clinton (1994) , Bush (2001), and Obama (2009). He is currently the Artistic Director and conductor of the professional choir, ElysianVoices. His articles and reviews have appeared in several journals, and have been delivered at several academic conferences. He will be the guest conductor for the Illinois ACDA Two-Year College Choral Festival in April 2012. Laprade studied choral conducting under Joseph Flummerfelt, Allen Crowell, James Jordan, Donald Neuen, and in workshops with Robert Shaw.

Natasha Lehrer
Entrepreneur, artist, and educator are a few things Natasha Lehrer, of Esther’s Place, has been called. Her favorite title however, is “shepherdess”. Their flock of sheep have been the basis of the adventure she’s been traveling for the past ten years. Her passion involves connecting the worlds of art, agriculture, and education. Her art has been shown nationally and internationally, and teaching and presenting has taken her around the Chicagoland region. She believes in igniting the creativity everyone has inside. The fiber studio she and her mother, Donna, run is where people can engage in knitting, felting, weaving, and spinning artistically and beautifully. Natasha works with educators in using fiber in their art curriculum and has been honored with several awards for her artistry, entrepreneurism, and ingenuity. It is her hope to continue to be able to share and inspire people of ages and backgrounds to find their niche in fiber.

Mary Leung
Like most long-time homeschoolers, Mary is a Jack-of-All-Trades, especially in all things crafty. She does enjoy some crafts more than others, including metalsmithing, needle felting, and handwork. She has shared her love of crafting while leading a homeschool Girl Scout troop for many years, and she has enjoyed teaching fiber arts for the last two years at a homeschool co-op. During the warmer months, you can find her in the garden amid native plants, lots of vegetables, and many weeds.

Marlene Molewyk
Marlene Molewyk has homeschooled her children for the past ten years. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, she worked as: a broadcast journalist for the NBC affiliate in Traverse City, Michigan; a production assistant for The Oprah Winfrey Show; and a corporate public relations manager for Ameritech. In addition homeschooling, Molewyk is currently a freelance writer, and her articles have been published in Practical Homeschooling and Liberti magazines. Molewyk lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and five children. She holds a bachelors degree in communications and political science from the University of Michigan.

Kristin Oakley
Kristin is the president and a founding member of the professional writers' organization, In Print, and is on the board of the Chicago Writers Association. She has written editorials for local newspapers and homeschool articles for Home Education Magazine. She's completed her first novel, "Carpe Diem," about an unschooling town and is waiting patiently to hear from interested agents. Kristin has always unschooled her two daughters, Caitlin (20) and Jessica (16), and loves every minute of the adventure.

Sara Pardo
Sara Pardo owns and operates the Long Grove Performing Arts Academy (www.LGArtsAcademy.com), where she teaches voice, piano, acting, Glee and more. She is also a Chicago-based performer, active on opera, musical theatre and concert stages across the US and beyond. This summer, she will be covering Marguerite in Faust and Bianca in Kiss Me Kate with the Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre. She is pleased to be returning for her second year as a workshop presenter for the InHome Conference.

Caitlin Podemski
Caitlin is a junior at Drake University where she is studying music business and psychology. She was unschooled all the way through high school and attended Rock Valley College in Rockford, Ill., part-time during high school. She loves to play the piano and sing and, of course, play games!

Julie Polanco
Julie Polanco has been homeschooling since her oldest daughter, now thirteen, was born. Two brothers and a sister came along for the ride and life has never been the same. Her homeschooling has gone from parent-directed to a collaborative effort, from curriculum-driven to a life adventure. She and her family love to explore the outdoors, serve others, and learn about this wonderful world together. Julie is an avid gardener and foodie, amateur musician and lyricist, and has a passion for books and bicycles. Oh, and in her spare time, she wrote her first book, "Finding Joy: A Christian's Journey to an Unschooled Life," which was published last summer. She hopes that you are encouraged and equipped by her workshop.

Julie Reder
Julie has spent extensive time researching, modifying, and creating curriculum to meet the “Visual Spatial/Conceptual” learning style of children. She is the publisher of an online blog, “A Visual Perspective” (www.juliereder.blogspot.com), providing insight, resources, and information. Julie has been an instructor at Bartlett Nature Center for four years. She is a single parent of four children, ages 10 to 18, and has been active in the homeschooling community for over thirteen years.

Tracy Richardson
Tracy is a writer who lives outside of Chicago, Ill. She’s also a mom, a wife, and owned by two dogs and a gecko. Huge chunks of her time are spent homeschooling her two kids, cooking gluten- and nut-free food actually worth eating, and trying to figure out how to clean her house less often. In a perfect world she’d be a best-selling author who speaks fluent Spanish, Italian, German and Latin, and travels across Europe, but as of today she hasn’t done all of that … yet.

Allison R. Rittle
Allison "Allie" Rittle is a 16-year-old homeschooler. She loves volunteering, and especially loves to work with children. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children she works with makes the hours worthwhile, and she especially likes to offer encouragement and gentle instruction. Along with volunteering in her community in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsion, Allie is involved in the Wisconsin and Illinois homeschooling organizations and she volunteers at both of their annual conferences. Her academic interests include reading, writing, psychology, and child development, and her artistic interests include photography, piano, and dance. Girl Scouting is an interest of hers, and she has earned many badges and the Silver and Gold Volunteer Awards. She loves to play soccer and go biking, hiking and running around beautiful Door County. Most of all, Allie loves spending time with, and volunteering with, her family.

Mark G. Rittle
Mark Rittle has been a car enthusiast his entire life. He started his career as an automotive technician right out of high school serving an apprenticeship at a Pontiac dealer. He eventually earned Journeyman status and continued his career working at various dealerships including Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, Nissan, Isuzu, and several private shops. While no longer serving in the automotive field, Mark still enjoys working on cars. Mark is the proud father of three homeschooled children who all know how to change a flat tire!

Sara and Bob Sakol Segall are the parents of an avid baseball card collector. Ryan has been collecting baseball cards since 2007 and has been actively trading them since 2010.

Barbara Shukin
Barbara Shukin is the mother of five children from ages 21 down to 5, and has homeschooled since the beginning using the Charlotte Mason and Classical approaches. After receiving her MFA in sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she taught for several years at the college level and was concurrently the director of a college art gallery. She continues to teach through local co-ops, and by offering art classes for homeschoolers. Barbara is the author and publisher of the History Portfolio Series and the Nature Portfolio, offering a notebooking approach to the study of history and science.

Deb Singleton
Deb Singleton is a dynamic, articulate, and compassionate educator, public speaker, and healer dedicated to nurturing whole individuals living in harmony with the Earth and each other. She has 30 years experience teaching children, youth, and adults a variety of subjects in a variety of settings. In particular, she has practiced and facilitated meditation, imagery, and dreamwork for over 20 years. A parent of two and homeschooler of four, she is in her 14th and final year of homeschooling.

Michael Stachnik
Michael Stachnik has over 20 years experience working in museums. He enjoys teaching all ages about various topics but has a particular interest in Native American history. The incorporation of demonstrations and touchable objects make his educational presentations come alive!

CYT Staff
CYT, Christian Youth Theater, is one of the largest children's youth theaters in the nation, with over 6,000 students in over 10 locations. CYT offers camps, classes, and shows all year long for kids ages 4-18.

Ellen Stukel
Ellen Stukel is the mother of three children ages 18, 15 and 11, and has homeschooled from the beginning using a combination of approaches including Classical and relaxed homeschooling. After receiving her BA in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she worked as a computer analyst for several years. She also taught Bradley Method childbirth classes for 12 years. As a consultant for Usborne Books & More, she has given workshops on a variety of educational and parenting topics. She has also co-founded several academic clubs for her children in areas of science, history, and literature.

Mark Stukel
Mark, a homeschooled senior, splits his academic time between classes at North Central College, literature club, and several online classes. He was involved in Boy Scouts from first grade until he turned 18 this past fall, enjoying camping and high adventures. Mark is also a member of 4H. When he is not studying, walking the dog, or searching the internet for obscure factoids, he can be found at the Karate dojo either teaching or taking classes. He has studied karate with Sensei Sharkey for over eight years and has achieved an Adult Black Belt.

Tom Stukel
Tom, a homeschooled sophomore, splits his academic time between study at home, literature club, and several online classes. Tom is a member of 4H, and earned Grand Champion in the Read-A-Book category at the County Fair. When he is not studying, walking the dog, playing the guitar, or cartooning, he can be found at the karate dojo with his brother, either teaching or taking classes. He has studied karate with Sensei Sharkey for over eight years and has achieved a Junior Black Belt.

Venessa Tarbell
Venessa learned to grow and preserve food as a child while helping her grandmother in the kitchen. She has been growing and canning food for her own family for six years. She currently gardens in her small urban backyard. Venessa lives in Chicago with her husband and four daughters, their two cats, and a small flock of laying hens.

Dustin Thacker
Dustin began his career in alternative education over ten years ago as a recreation leader at Brehm Preparatory School. Since then he has created and led numerous summer camps and after-school programs. Currently he is an educator at Chicago Children’s Museum and the director of Tinkering School Chicago. Dustin creates authentic and empowering hand-on experiences for children and does so with passion and an unyielding curiosity.

Christine Thornton
Christine Thornton is an artist and certified art teacher with a BFA in art education from the University of Illinois. She has taught multimedia art lessons to homeschoolers from her home studio in Mount Prospect for seven years and teaches drawing workshops at libraries throughout the Chicago area.

Dorene Wackerfuss
Dorene Wackerfuss is a dancer, choreographer and a dance teacher with over 40 years experience teaching many types of dance to all ages. As a dancer she was a member of the Athens Ballet Workshop in Georgia, and earned money for college at Northwestern University as a dancer in the Jimmy Durante nightclub act! Dorene choreographed many musicals for community theater, like Grease, Kiss Me Kate, The Sound of Music, and most recently The Christmas Schooner. She founded Dorene's DanceXpress Dance Studio in 1986 (now The DanceXpress) in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She prides herself on her versatility, teaching ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, musical theater, lyrical and ballroom dance. Dorene has been an active member of CNADM, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, for 30 years. She enjoys taking their classes to continue her dance training. Ann Wasserman
Ann has homeschooled her two kids, now 21 and 17, since the beginning of time. She has been sewing longer than that. She has been self-employed as a quilter since 1980, which includes repair and conservation of antique quilts, making her own quilted artwork, and teaching and lecturing through quilt shops, adult education programs, and historical societies. Her kids are both performers, which has opened up the world of costuming, and she is heading into that as her next career.

Kathy Wentz
Kathy Wentz is a certified teacher who began homeschooling her own children over 20 years ago. A decade ago she spearheaded the creation of the first ever Homeschool Resource Center in a public library at the Johnsburg Public Library. Today, in addition to her ongoing work at the Johnsburg Public Library, Kathy speaks on a wide variety of homeschool- and library-related topics, runs a number of homeschooling web sites and email lists and is a much sought after educational consultant, private tutor and math and science teacher.

Dorothy Werner
Dorothy began homeschooling in 1978. She has five sons and 28 foster children (three were girls). She has taught in public schools and founded a parent-run private school. She is a co-founder of HOUSE and represents Illinois Unschoolers Network (IUN) on the Ad Hoc committee. Dorothy was a consulting teacher for Clonlara for over 25 years and takes referral calls about homeschooling for the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

Matt White
Matt started home education in 1981. At 6th grade, his education became more of a trades apprenticeship in his parent’s family businesses. These consisted of a bookstore, auto repair and salvage, and construction. Between consistently stimulating work environments and a love of reading anything he could get his hands on, he ended up with a love of learning that continues to serve him well, as he is involved in experiential education and camp programming. He found his love of service and camp work as a counselor at 15 years of age. He has had opportunity to travel and serve in many places around the world in numerous capacities. He has been involved in a grassroots education initiative for cultural understanding in the schools of northern Wisconsin. He is currently the Program Director at YMCA Family Camp Nawakwa in Lac Du Flambeau, Wisc.

Kelly Wilson
Kel is a painter who lives in Glendale, Arizona. She is also a homeschooling mom and wife who feeds and cleans up after a wonderful dog, four cats (yes, it says four), a gecko, several fish and an adorable desert tortoise who lives in the back yard. Kel has a degree in Wildlife Biology and is passionate about wild things living in wild places, so much of her art centers around nature. Kel’s ultimate fantasy is to become a children’s book author and illustrator, and to some day live (at least half the year) in England.

RobotCity Workshop
RobotCity Workshop is Chicago’s only store devoted entirely to robots. We are a sanctuary for lifetime tinkerers and robot fanatics, carrying educational toys and robot kits, electronic components and hardware, and other fun robot-centric stuff. We offer after school programs, birthday parties, in-store robot building workshops, and a team of people who really want to talk to you about robots. We're excited to build with you!

DeLynn Zielinski
DeLynn has been a preschool teacher in a state-funded program for 17 years. She has been homeschooling for 13 years. DeLynn has presented for the children's workshops for the past 6 years with workshops like "Let's Get Messy, Not in My House" and "Ramps and Balls". She also helped with the coordination of the children's workshops for two years. DeLynn says, "This is one my favorite times of the year!"
